The Bei Loon Dragonboat Club at Bayview is the first club in the Sydney
area to train school crews. A carefully designed program has been put together
to cater for high school students between the ages of 12 to 18. The program is
run as part of the school curriculum during school hours. Other times are also
available by arrangement. Dragonboating teaches the significance of participation, teamwork, competition and discipline. The Bei Loon Dragonboat Club can assist school crews in entering regattas such as those held at Darling Harbour for the Chinese New Year festivities. The club also holds its own race day at Bayview once a year just for school crews. Boats, paddles, PFDs, insurance, sweeps and coaches all
supplied.
